Service Description

Gajeni Courier Services provides same-day and express courier delivery services throughout Sasolburg, Free State, and Gauteng provinces in South Africa. Our services include:

• Same-Day Delivery - Expedited courier services with same-day delivery within our service areas
• Express Delivery - Fast and reliable courier services with specific delivery timeframes
• Specialized Handling - Secure transport of sensitive or specialized items requiring special care
• Door-to-Door Service - Complete pickup and delivery service from origin to destination

Eligibility

Our services are available to individuals who are at least 18 years old and can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these requirements.

Service Terms

Booking and Scheduling

You may book our courier services through our website, by phone, or via email. All bookings are subject to confirmation and availability. We will provide you with an estimated pickup and delivery time, but actual times may vary based on operational conditions.

Package Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that your package:

• Is properly packaged to withstand normal handling during transport
• Does not contain prohibited items (see Prohibited Items section)
• Has accurate and complete sender and recipient information
• Complies with all applicable laws and regulations

Delivery and Acceptance

Delivery is considered complete when the package is delivered to the specified address and signed for by any person present at the address who represents that they are authorized to accept delivery. We reserve the right to request identification before completing delivery.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a delivery subject to our cancellation policy. Cancellations made less than two hours before the scheduled pickup time may incur a cancellation fee.

Prohibited Items

You may not use our services to transport the following prohibited items:

• Illegal substances or contraband
• Hazardous materials, including flammable, explosive, or corrosive substances
• Firearms, weapons, or ammunition
• Live animals or perishable goods (without prior arrangement)
• Currency, precious metals, or highly valuable items
• Any items prohibited by law or regulation

We reserve the right to refuse service for any package we reasonably believe contains prohibited items.

Fees and Payment

Our fees are based on the service type, distance, package dimensions, weight, and any additional services requested. You agree to pay all fees associated with your use of our services.

Payment must be made in advance or upon delivery, depending on the service and your account status. We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic funds transfer.

All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for paying all taxes, duties, and other governmental charges in connection with our services.

Liability and Insurance

Our liability for loss, damage, or delay of your package is limited to the lesser of:

• The actual value of the package contents
• R1,000 per package, unless additional insurance is purchased

We offer additional insurance options for valuable items. Please inquire about these options when booking your delivery.

We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss or damage resulting from improper packaging
• Delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control
• Loss or damage of prohibited items

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Gajeni Courier Services or our content suppliers and is protected by South African and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, display, perform, distribute, or otherwise use any content from our website without our prior written permission.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to our services at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in South Africa.
